The celebration started the evening before the wedding with a relaxed get-together at a lakeside restaurant on Lake Garda. Even though a brief summer rain shower surprised everyone for a moment, it didn’t change the mood at all. Guests kept talking, laughing and enjoying the moment together. The wedding day from Meike & Thomas began slowly and full of excitement at Hotel Du Lac, where both got ready for their day. Outside, Lake Garda shimmered in the summer sun, promising a perfect day for their wedding celebration.
Before the celebration started, they shared a intimate first look at Torre San Marco. Standing together with the lake behind them, it was a calm and emotional moment. It was the perfect setting for the start of their wedding story. Meanwhile, their guests had already set off from the nearby harbour by boat across Lake Garda towards the breathtaking Isola del Garda.
The small island, known for its stunning Venetian-Gothic villa and breathtaking lake views, provided an extraordinary setting for the wedding ceremony. Together, Meike and Thomas traveled by boat across Lake Garda to Isola del Garda and approached the island as their guests waited. During this time, the guests gathered on the terrace overlooking the lake and waited for the couple to arrive.
The free wedding ceremony took place with a spectacular panoramic view over Lake Garda. It was a heartfelt ceremony, made even more special by a close friend who sang during the vows. Afterwards, the guests enjoyed a relaxed reception on the island while group photos and couple portraits were taken around the stunning island.
Later in the afternoon, the celebration continued back at Torre San Marco. As the sun slowly set over Lake Garda, everyone gathered for dinner, speeches and the couple’s first dance. The beginning of a joyful Italian evening that would continue long into the night.
